Advertise acceptance policy
We prioritize our customers’ experience. We believe our serve helps us drive better results for our advertisers. All advertising content must be appropriate for a general audience and must comply with all laws and rules and regulations that apply to the advertiser, the advertising content, and any location where the advertisements may appear. AGCNN requires that advertisers and their agency partners review their advertising with our guidelines in mind before giving approval.
Ad Content
- In advertise, no anyone may use AGCNN's logos or trademarks, or refer to AGCNN, its site, or its brand in any manner, without AGCNN's prior consent. Please refer to the agcnn.com Brand Usage Guidelines for more details.
- Advertise must contain a clear/strong call to action (CTA). Ads cannot contain non-specific calls to action, for example “Click here” is not allowed. An acceptable call to action (CTA) would be “Shop now,” “Watch video,” or “Click here for more information”.
- If the content you’re linking to requires a subscription, this must be made explicit either in the call to action (CTA) or elsewhere in advertise.
- In advertise, when and how the saving applies must be clear to the customer.
- Advertise must incorporate the advertiser’s logo or brand name.
- Pricing and saving messages of any service must be clear, accurate within the ad copy and landing page. Any special offers must clearly and accurately describe the benefit advertised as being part of the offer.
Restricted Ad Content
As part of our commitment, sometimes we may not accept ads containing certain content, or relating to certain offers, products or services. These restrictions include, but are not limited to the following content, offers, products or services across all placements following:
Free Offers:
Whatever advertisement is for free goods or services must indicate when terms and conditions apply. Advertising containing special offers, contests, promotions, prize draws must indicate that terms and conditions apply. For example if the advertisement refers to the chance to win a lottery, that contest must feature prominently on the landing page with a clear link to the terms and conditions.
Products advertising:
- You cannot explicitly reference potentially embarrassing bodily functions or conditions in ads.
- Ads and landing pages must not use exaggerated claims, or set unrealistic expectations of the product.
- In ads, you cannot suggest that weight loss or increase results will be effective for everyone or that results are permanent.
- Any products should not claim to be as effective as prescription products.
Drug Related Content:
- Alcohol ads must not be aimed at minors or directed to images or content of any kind, whether false or true.
- In advertising, alcohol advertisements should promote the responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages and should not disregard the abstinence from such beverages.
- Drinking alcohol should not be associated with driving or motor vehicle drivers.
- As a rule, alcohol advertisements should not feature models/actors who are under the age of 25.
- Advertisements must not promote excessive alcohol consumption, should never suggest medical or other benefits to the drink, or suggest or convey the intoxicating power of the drink.
- With the exception of any campaigns, we do not accept display advertising for the sale of alcohol retail.
- We do not accept alcohol ads on Kindle devices or Fire tablets of any kind.
Unacceptable Advertising Material
- Misleading, false or disorderly content.
- Content that is emotionally exploitative, controversial or that uses negative depictions of a human, community, society or animal.
- Any violent content.
- Excessive or partial obscenity or other related material that may cause damage to an image.
- Content that promotes any illegal, deceptive or dangerous products, services or activities, including evading law enforcement.
- Materials that harm the society.
- Content that is obscene, defamatory, defamatory, or that infringes on intellectual or personal rights or is offensive.
- Content that is threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, or incites any violence or intolerance, or that speaks of favor or opposition to any group, regardless of race, national origin, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender, disability, religion or other category.
- Tobacco use content of any kind, positive or negative.
- Any other material which causes social disorder or disturbance.
